Started Gundog Training
Our started gun dog program teaches a younger dog the basic skills needed to hunt in the field. This program includes basic obedience, Single marks, short blind retrieves, introduction to gunfire, along with introduction to defrosted birds/ live birds (If Available) , and e-collar conditioning. At the end of this program your dog will be Steady, collar conditioned, able to pick up birds and able to graduate to advanced gundog training or begin his/her hunting career. It is recommended to continue your dog through our finished gun dog program.

Finished Gundog Training
The finished gundog program is a follow up program for started dogs. This program will consist of more complex training sessions, hand casting , multiple marked retrieves and long distance blind retrieves. After completing this program your dog will be ready to hunt by using all of the skills he/she learned.

Hunt Test Training
Want to get your dog  titles but do not have the time? We have you covered! With our Hunt Test Training Program we can take any dog that is already trained and get it ready for whatever flight suits its skills the best. Wether it be Started, Seasoned, or Finished. While your dog is in this program we will strictly run just hunt test scenarios, we do this to be fully prepared to aqquire titles!

Puppy Headstart
Our puppy head start is available for younger dogs to be able to socialize with different surroundings and to be introduced to obedience commands. This program will produce an obedient puppy that will have skills to build upon.

Meet The Owner
My name is Andrew Trahan, I have been training dogs since I was thirteen. I started out with my own dog then proceeded to training for friends and relatives then eventually started to follow around local trainers that agreed to mentor me. My training methods involve an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Your dog has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your dog. The skills that your dog learned will eventually will have the opportunity to be tested in the blind.
